KINGS OF LYDIA. Kroisos, circa 560-546 BC. Siglos (Subaeratus, 16 mm, 4.32 g), a contemporary plated imitation, irregular mint. Confronted foreparts of a lion and a bull. Rev. Two incuse squares, one larger than the other. Cf. Berk 23, Rosen 663-5 and SNG Kayhan 1024-6 (for prototype). Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
